FlexeLint Patches PC-lint PatchesTo determine your current patch level invoke the PC-lint program with no arguments, as in: lin
or
lint-nt -v
You will get a banner line that looks something like: PC-lint for C/C++ (NT) Ver. 9.00a, Copyright Gimpel Software 1985-2008From this you deduce that the patch level is 'a' as
this is the letter following "9.00". To update
to, say, level 'c' you would download the
following files
The .zip files should be unzipped producing the files lp9-a-b.rtp and lp9-b-c.rtp With these files in your lint directory, you would issue the commands:
These patches will update only lint-nt.exe (the Windows executable). If you need a patch for the DOS-extended executable, please contact us. Also, please note that these patches will not affect the .lnt files which were distributed with PC-lint. If you need updated .lnt files, just download them directly from below. patch.zip ( 58,358 - zipped patch.exe) NOTE: If you are using 64-bit Windows, the patch program above will not work. Instead, use lpatch.exe found below. The file fpatch.c is used to apply the patches to the FlexeLint source modules.
